The Rock'n Flames is a great versatile band
that has a long history of playing all eras of music across the state, S.E. Iowa and around the midwest. The original
band started back in 1957 and played many of the ballrooms and venues across the state. Now the Rock'n Flames is back
with a new look but same name and the same great Rock N' Roll music.
The original group was inducted into the Iowa Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame back in 2003 and the hall of famers are: James Moore, Sidney Moore, Walt "Dean" Cheney, Roy Cadwell, Vern Sandersfeld, Fred
Walk and Ron Coghlan. The current members of the band are James Moore, Cass Moore and Sidney Moore.
The
Rock'n Flames has over 50 years of music playing experience providing music for weddings, private parties, B-Day parties,
company parties and all other occasions and venues. If your looking for a live band that can play music starting back
in the good ol' days (50's & 60's) thru the 70's, 80's, & 90's, then you are in the right place.
Don't be shy at our gigs, because we want you to make requests on songs you want to hear. You know it's easy to play
songs on cd's to listen too, but it's hard for a live band to learn all songs on this planet but we will do our very best
to play them for you.
